"The reception welcome was very friendly and my room was amazing, spacious with an indoor seating area and a balcony with a sea view. Breakfasts were excellent, self service with a good range of juices, coffee, prepared fruit, cake, sausages, eggs, cheese and meat. The hotel was close to restaurants, ice-cream shop and supermarket and the nearest beach was only a few minutes walk down the street"
"Although this hotel presents as a ‘boutique’ property, it really isn’t. Room was nicely decorated but very small. Complete lack of storage. One cupboard with 6 hangers. No drawers. Not enough space for two people to hang a weeks worth of clothing.
Bathroom nice but small. Water took ages to heat up and floor flooded every time.
Swimming pool looks nice but was freezing - the sun doesn’t hit it until the afternoon so always cold. Only a handful of sunloungers so this would be an issue in the height of summer.
Breakfast was limited and the cooked food was cold (there is a microwave to reheat).
There is a list of rules by reception which includes not eating/drinking in your room, despite a full size fridge provided! As there is a lack of any other public space on a rainy day you’d be expected to stay in your room with no food/drink!!
A pleasant enough stay for a decent price but wouldn’t return. "
"Avenue hotel is wonderful! Perfectly located in the center, really close to the beach and to the bus station. Sara is the best!!! Breakfast is delicious and on a wonderful terrace. Will stay here when I come back to Ksamil!"
"Lovely modern hotel, good value for money especially considering the price. Good location, only a 5/10 minutes walk into the main bit and honestly, the photos online don’t do it justice – management should definitely update them because the hotel is beautiful.
Breakfast has an ok selection of food but it did the job. Our room was spotless, cleaned daily, and although a little small, it was perfectly comfortable for two people. The pool area was really nice, despite another review on here you can definitely fit more that 5 people in it. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
It would have been a bonus if the hotel served evening meals, but there are many restaurants within walking distance, plus the fast food place that’s literally opposite the hotel that does take out. "
"“Highly Recommended: Clean, Modern, and Welcoming”
We had a wonderful stay at Sondor Hotel in Ksamil last July. From the moment we checked in, everything felt welcoming and well thought out.
The breakfast buffet was excellent – plenty of variety and freshly made dishes. We were especially happy to learn that a Filipino chef is part of the kitchen team, as most of the food we enjoyed every morning was prepared with real care and flavor.
Our room exceeded expectations: it was spotless every day with fresh sheets and towels, beautifully designed with high-end finishes like marble, and very spacious. Not to mention the luxury smart curtains. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a large layout with his and her sinks and – our favorite detail – a bidet, which you don’t often find in hotels here. Being at the end of the floor, we also got the bonus of having two balconies, which was a lovely touch.
The staff were fantastic – both the manager and the receptionist were always polite, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed.
While we wished the pool had already been finished so we could enjoy it, everything else more than made up for it. The location is also very convenient: there’s a mini grocery store right next door, plenty of restaurants nearby, only a 10-minute walk to Poda Beach, and just 3 minutes to the bus stop.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend Sondor Hotel to anyone visiting Ksamil."
