The Space:

Salinja Breeze is a spacious villa offering three bedrooms and generous indoor and outdoor living areas.



Bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 each have a king-size bed; bedroom 3 has a queen-size bed. There are three full bathrooms. The spacious living room opens directly onto the open-plan kitchen, which features a brand-new kitchen unit and built-in appliances including a stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, ice maker and kettle. Outside you have a covered veranda, a terrace, a private garden and a pool deck.

Good to know:

- No dryer: There is no clothes dryer, but on Bonaire that is hardly an issue: thanks to the sun and the constant trade winds, laundry dries on the line within just a few hours.

- Water pressure: Water pressure can occasionally fluctuate on Bonaire, as is common on many Caribbean islands. It is typically brief and will not get in the way of a great stay.

- Wildlife visits: Bonaire is full of wildlife, and you will notice it around the garden too: lizards, colorful birds or a curious goat may wander by. Most guests consider it a quintessential Bonairean experience.



Guest Access:

As a guest of Salinja Breeze, you have full access to the entire property: all three bedrooms, three bathrooms, the spacious living room, the open-plan kitchen and all outdoor areas, including the covered veranda, the terrace, the private garden and the pool deck with the private pool. The BBQ grill and free parking, both on the property and on the street, are also entirely at your disposal.

The Neighborhood:

Kralendijk's town center with its waterfront boulevard, docks, sailboats and motorboats moored to buoys, and colorful facades: staying at Salinja Breeze puts you right in the middle of restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure point for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. Perfect for those who want everything within walking distance and enjoy an evening stroll along the boulevard. For divers and snorkelers, the Playa area is a great base thanks to quick access to the west coast dive sites; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect vibrancy, convenience and the shortest travel times to all the amenities Kralendijk, Bonaire's capital, has to offer.



Salinja Breeze is approximately 1.1 kilometers from Van den Tweel supermarket, 700 meters from Dive Friends Chachacha dive center, 650 meters from Chachacha Beach, 1.1 kilometers from the center of Kralendijk and 350 meters from Sebastian’s Restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: For a great day trip, head over to Sorobon and Lac Bay on the eastern side of the island. Lac Bay is world-renowned as one of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing destinations on the planet, thanks to its steady trade winds and shallow, sheltered waters. The area is part of a Ramsar wetland, an internationally protected wetland of exceptional ecological importance. Sorobon itself is a small fishing hamlet on the shores of the bay, where the Caribbean pace of life is felt at its purest. Surrounding Lac Bay, you will find extensive mangrove forests that are essential to Bonaire's marine ecosystem.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Salinja Breeze. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Salinja Breeze is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
