"I liked the Idea of paperless and online check-in, However we didn't get the check-in email and struggled to get a call to them upon arrival since our phones didn't work right on our wi-fi setup we were using. However someone let us use their phone to call them and we were able to send an email and we got in in a few minutes. Someone in the building burnt something on the stove and the fire alarm went off. Without a staff on site we did not know how to reset the alarm or really what to do. So...

"Everything was great about this property location. A Supermarket across the road, several cafes nearby and a next level Domino’s Pizza. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was waiting an additional 45 minutes after we arrived at 3.15pm (check in was 3pm) to be able to access the room, we were absolutely tired after travelling all night and touring during the day. The studio apartment was fine and comfortable. We had a spot for our rental car. "This was the second time we stayed here. The rooms are meticulously clean and the staff are always helpful and friendly. We were able to take advantage of the free parking (first come, first served) all days except one but there was reasonable street parking half a block away. There is some construction out front of the hotel - the city is building a public square which will be great when open. I’d guess by spring 2026. The work started and finished at a reasonable time. But honestly all of Reykjavik seems to be under construction. It is a thriving city. "
