"Perfect place to stay"
We only booked for two nights but wish we had of stayed longer. Resort was well maintained with lots to do. Room was spacious with three teenagers and very clean.

"Perfect home away from home"
From the second we checked in, until the second we left, the experience was truly excellent. Daniel and Robert were the perfect hosts, the property and rooms are meticulously maintained and the location is great, too. The breakfast is beyond believe, the rooms spacious, the beds comfy, the bathroom huge. What is truly outstanding, is the guest service. If you look for a home away from home on Big Island, look no further - you found it!

"Close to everything!"
Fantastic stay in Kailua-Kona. This hotel is conveniently located to just about everything you could want to do on the big island. The beach is your back door with many activity options within a stones throw. No shortage of restaurant and night life options within close walking distance but found the night life scene shuts down early in this part of Hawaii. Would not hesitate to stay here again

"Finding paradise"
Always came home to a tidy home ((stayed 2weeks) loved the coffee and the fruit each morning, Mahi always had sis festoons for us to do and eat out at. Local inside information. Went to see the volcano eruption, hadn't erupted since 1968? The lodge is very big and beautiful.. Hidden back in the countryside everthough the frist drive at night might seem far or like your lost it's easy after the first trip 4.4 miles excactly off hwy 11 off wright rd just fallow it up there's a left bend in the roads then about 1 mile there's a rt turn then a small country one lane travel it 1.4 miles look for the st sign that reads sleepy hallo slow down it's the next left driveway pull pup to the main entry unload then park into the marked parking area, don't forget to take your shoes off, local tradition..... Enjoy your stay as we did...... Aloha

"Wonderfu Stay"
Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the cottage. Cottage was charming and comfortable. The owner was pleasant and informative. Would definely stay here again. Is a bargain for the money. We were very close to Volcano park. The only draw back is there are very few choices of restaurants in the area and it is a long way to Kona or Hilo.

"Great hotel for a family"
We were looking for a place to stay on the Kona side of the island for a family of 6, and found Paniolo Greens to be a convenient location with a very reasonable price. It is not on the beach, but has access to the beaches within 15-20 minutes and also puts you closer to Mano Loa and Hilo to visit that side of the island. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our flight out was very late in the day and the staff let us leave our luggage at the reception building in a conference room that was locked, and we were able to spend our last day snorkeling and still fly home clean as they let us borrow a number of beach towels to take out to the beach, then shower in the bathrooms there in the check-in building prior to heading to the airport. I had no complaints about this place and would recommend it to anyone traveling with a larger family.

"Excellent Bed and Breakfast"
We stayed in the Ohia Ranch Retreat room. This was easily the most beautiful room we’ve ever stayed in. The aesthetic of the stained wood beams, hard wood floors and furnishings was outstanding. There was a real attention to detail. The bed was also tied for the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in and reminds us that we have to replace our bed at home sometime soon. The surroundings were also beautiful and complete with fun farm animals including Lucy the goat, who never ceased to entertain us just by being adorable. This is a true B&B, so you will have breakfast at the same table with other guests. We’re not conversationalists, but luckily the hosts (Theresa and Randal) were excellent at keeping the talk going and keeping it light. Breakfast was excellent - most notably the fruit filled papaya that looked and tasted like something you’d get at a very expensive restaurant. There’s a quirk regarding the hot portion of the breakfast in that you have to make it yourself, but this was straight forward as everything is ready to go. We really loved the breakfast sandwich. For me, it was the duck egg that did it. They also had waffles and pastries, but we mostly just ate the papaya and breakfast sandwich. Overall, we rate this stay a 5 star. I should add that the hosts are very interested in making the stay pleasant and will offer suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Ohelo Café is currently the best food in Volcano Village.

"Great property - don't rush it like we did."
This place is a 1912 house with multiple B&B type rooms. It is nicely setup, with all the details but also has the makings of a high quality hostel (kitchen to use, grounds etc.) Conveniently located for Volcano National Park. We were kind of in and out but I could see this being a place to stay a bit longer (though slightly pricey)

"Worth it"
This resort is not within our normal budget range but it was our honeymoon and we decided to splurge. We're glad we did. Staying at the Four Seasons Hualalai is an exquisite experience from the little details that the staff pays attention to, to the quality of the facilities. You will not regret staying here.

"Hotel with spacious room close to Volcano park"
Very spacious room, newly constructed and clean. Hotel is more of a bed and breakfast located within a rainforest, so you would basically wake up to the chirpings of the birds and rain. The room has a large patio, many windows that would let in natural light, and collects rain for water usage. If you have wet clothing from the outings, don't expect them to dry from hanging because it's rainy most of the time in the area. The sign at the entrance of the hotel is hard to see so you might miss it if not careful. Just follow your GPS and immediately make a right turn into the small gateway after you passed the post office at the Post Office Lane if coming from the ITO airport, which is about 45 minutes away. There are a few restaurants close by within 3 minutes drive away. The Volcano National Park is about 5 minutes drive away, so very convinient. Wifi connection however, is kind off on and off. Some people complained about having to take off their shoes at the door when come in, but really, if you explore the trails inside the volcano park in the rain, your shoes would be all dirty from all that mud and lava rock, and you would make a mess all over the place; the hotel is like someone's home, you don't mess up people's home like that when they treat you with such warm hospitality
