« Great and serene location away from the usual hustle and bustle of the city. The property was easily one of the most unique experiences, apparently they’re newer to VRBO so setting up and arriving was clunky at first but as soon as I made contact with the host Michaela, it was smooth sailing from there and things were not confusing. Check in and out were clear! Cozy place and there was a bevy of things to do close by, an excellent North Star if you’re visiting Humboldt County for the first time!...

« This is a delightful location. It's very peaceful and quiet. The burgeoning garden outside the door is lovely! It's possible to walk up the street and right onto a hiking path through a redwood forest, and have the path essentially all to yourself. Julia went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had in making my reservation. She's a kind and hospitable host! Highly recommended. »

« It’s a cosy little cabin in the middle of eureka. The check-in instructions were clear and precise. I was in town for a reunion so I really only used it for sleeping. I didn’t cook. It was perfect for a solo traveler; might be a bit tight for a couple.
The best part for me was the location —- close to Harrison and Harris and Henderson and H Street. Very affordable and much quieter than Broadway. »

« The place was clean and bedding comfortable. The 2 bedroom listing was a bit deceiving, the 2nd bedroom also includes the kitchenette, dining area and no living or lounging space. The space was very tiny and cramped. The 1 bedroom was a nice size and the bathroom was in there. There was only 1 window and it was high on the wall. The outdoor space was very small. For me it felt a bit claustrophobic and not worth the price we paid. »

« Awesome cozy house in Arcata. This was one of our stops from our roadtrip up to Oregon from Los Angeles. After staying in cottages in Carmel and Mendocino it was nice to have the relaxing feeling of a house. Our dog enjoyed the yard a lot for roaming. Hope to return. « The house is super cute. Nice neighborhood. Everything was set up with intention. Every detail thought out and covered. Kitchen is very well equipped. The place was very clean. Live plants are a nice touch.The bathroom/sink is tight but was not an issue for us. The host had excellent communication. We will recommend to friends traveling through Eureka and would stay again.
