Find yourself in “Camelot” for a great oceanfront week of tranquility and amazing ocean views. Located in charming Sanderling with quiet, tree-lined streets and beautiful beaches, this is the spot for families that want to spend time together. This pretty cottage by the sea has a beautiful and accommodating kitchen with white on white decor, a large center island for food prep, and storage with seating for 4\. There is a trash compactor and an under the counter icemaker for convenience. You have room for everyone to spread out in the large great room area with hardwood floors and LCD TV, ocean views and deck access plus a sunroom with LCD TV, ocean views, and deck access. The dining table also has ocean views and seats 10\. The beach is lovely at “Camelot” and Sanderling is known for its uncrowded beaches. There is a community pool and a kiddie pool on the sound front, a deck leading to a gazebo on the sound. Tennis courts are available for a fee with reservation. Miles and miles of multi-use paths give you biking, running, walking, strolling, or just exploring opportunities. Sanderling is located between Duck Village and Corolla for shopping, groceries, restaurants, and family activities. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
