"I've stayed in this hotel twice in the last three months. Initially, I liked it. It seemed to be the Cinderella option: there are more expensive hotels around, and less expensive hotels. Generally, it seemed, you got what you paid for: this hotel wasn't quite as nice as the more expensive options, and a little beat up in places, but the room, the bedding and towels were clean and comfortable; the breakfast was good and substantial; the staff was friendly and present. So, why am I not giving this place five stars across the board? Well, like I said: I expected to get what I paid for. The hotel advertised that they had an exercise room available. That was one of the reasons I chose this hotel, and not some of the less expensive options nearby. Well, when I stayed there two months ago, I noticed that the equipment was broken. The stationary bicycle didn't work at all - it wouldn't turn on, and despite looking around for a few minutes, I couldn't figure out why (it was plugged in). The treadmill did work, but was set in French (so the speed settings were in kilometers instead of miles). I did a modified workout, and pointed these things out to the lady at the front desk when I checked out. She made a note. Two months later, I came back, and nothing was changed: not even a note on the bicycle saying "out of order." I still like the hotel, but the exercise room was the reason I chose it over another. The cleanliness was also a little less than before. I'm not sure I'll be back."

"thank you so much. I love the hotel for the ambience. The music was wonderful. The food was good. The people in the group bar and grill were nice. The front desk was excellent. I thought that breakfast was included in the hotel. That was my error. I did not buy the buffet because they had all pork products and because you had to pay I wanted to be able to have meat products without pork in it but thank you. Everything about this hotel is very vintage. Kind of feeling. I got to sit downstairs for a long time with my family. They actually came over to my hotel. I hung out because it was better. Thank you for your kindness. It was much appreciated. "

"Nice room, clean, nice shower"

"Too many problems. Elevator was broken. Took steps and there was so much trash ! Breakfast was tea, coffee or watered down juice and a choice of honey buns or more honey buns. Room was kinda trashy. Sink had hair all over. Toilet wouldn't flush and made a sound like it was going to explode. Shades would not close. Hallways smelled and were absolutely a disgrace. Lobby area was uninviting. Staff lost keys!!! Nightmare !"

"My honest complaints are, my non smoking room was definitely heavily smoked in.. The carpet needed some attention, didnt seem to be swept.. Otherwise the beds were clean, bathroom was nice.. "

"This hotel has only ONE handicap accessible room. I had an accident after booking the reservation. Although they did move us to the first floor, it was impossible for me to shower. It was difficult to use the bathroom. On day 2 we got a shower chair they had stuffed in a closet somewhere. The last night of our stay was by far the worst with noise. From 9:45 to after 11pm there was so much noise in the lobby/elevator area that I couldn’t sleep. (Early flight) We have stayed here numerous times before & never had any real issues. The cost per night was twice what it was in December. "
