For 8 years in the middle 1700's the British forcibly removed the French speaking Acadiens from this area because of an unfounded fear that they would take up arms against them. Grand Pre was an area of reclaimed land that was incredibly fertile. Room size was very tight, pictures on ad showed bathroom but its a walk back to the parking lot to get to it an at night its an unlit walkway. quiet time was stated as 10 pm but many palaces were loud an all lite up till midnight. parking was small but no autos allowed to the cabin but had Harly motor bike come right next door.
