One tip: There’s no household recycling pickup, but Kill Devil Hills has a public recycling center a short drive from the house where you can drop off metal, glass, and paper. As a first timer in OBX we didn't realize how busy the highway was with limited access to crosswalks. We had to load up our car each day and park at public beach access. However, parking was super close and we didn't have issues not finding a parking spot. Outdoor grill was one of the perks of this property. We loved being able to grill for dinner.
