"Stayed with grandchildren in a great room. Staff extremely knowledgeable and accomodating. I did not like the breakfast dining experience. No back ground music the food was not great and you coukd hear a pin drop. No one talking at tables it felt awkward. Otherwise a great stay. I will stay again it was very pricey but location is why "

"A classic Scottish Castle Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and gorgeous surroundings. Wildlife on your doorstep. Rooms show some evidence of age (if you are picky about stuff like that), but it's an old Scottish Castle hotel... You want it to feel like an old Scottish Castle, don't you, and it absolutely does. "First time at the Osborne won’t be the last had a lovely room facing the Clyde Breakfast was amazing The staff were very helpful Everything was clean and tidy They did evening meals and takeaways The food looked very nice It is a proper pub bar with darts and a TV for other sports There is a large selection of beers and other drinks also free parking I enjoyed everything about my stay Thanks to the management and especially the bar staff who were hard working and always had a smile Mr A Gordon "

"The hotel was class , looked dated , which i like , but the rooms were like wow , wouldn't expect going into a hotel which on the outside , and in the halls were like walking into the late 19th century the i went into a room a basic btw , and a beautiful mural of david bowie and just transformed it into modern, was such a wow factor , the staff were like family , we went to the pub about 3 mile away , and the boss was there , talking away as if we were family, ive never felt so like home but while away , i only came on here to book again and noticed it asked for a review, honestly , if you want the marriot or the hilton , (which lets be honest all loom the same) the you wont be happy , but if you want to walk into history and get to your room with a view , and the room transports you back , then this is it, i honestly loved this place that much i phoned up rough and asked for an extra night , the town is so welcoming , the taxi driver was class , the kebab shop was class , everyone was happy , and trust me i tried to annoy people , they just go with it , an amazing place and an amazing bunch of people xxx"

"Stayed with my three grandchildren very spacious and clean room view out the window was amazing staff were friendly and helpful .Showers were good and not too far away from the room .It was great we could use the kitchen to cook our food and plenty of areas to relax.Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this hostel."
