All Sugar Beach Resort Maui condos feature a private lanai, a fully-equipped kitchen, free WiFi, a washer/dryer, and all the resort amenities you’d expect from the best hotels.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). It was a wonderful stay! We love the resort. We wish the water wasn't so choppy and brown but we normally head out to south Kihei for a day at the beach. The condo was lovely! And the little welcome package was wonderful. We will be back!

This VRBO is what I expected. It’s an older building. Beautiful beach. They do respond quickly if anything goes wrong. Staff in office to make sure you are not alone to get settled in etc.

Sugar Beach Resort Unit 511

For our stay in Maui this was the perfect place for us. Travelled with another couple and the condo was perfectly set up for us with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms with plenty of kitchen and living room space. The amenities, although dated, were comfortable. The Lanai overlooks the ocean and pool. The condo is centrally located close to many attractions and activities. Kihei, Lahaina and Kahului are all close and are easy to get too, although traffic can be a bit daunting at times. However there were some drawbacks, the condo is a bit dated and could use an upgrade. There were a couple of plumbing issues during our stay, however the Vacasa team was quick to respond to our concerns and had the repairs done quickly, without any interruption to our trip. Would definitely stay here again

The property itself was in a great location. No problems getting in and for the most part it was clean. However, I was disappointed because we found some boobie stickers on the wall in the bathroom from the previous guests, the vent was disgusting, months of build up, and when we hung up our towels on the shower curtain pole it was really dusty and it too was months worth of dust. All these things were really gross and required me to clean them.

Great spot for beautiful time with family

This was a great unit for our family to spend a week together. Communication and check in n and out was a breeze. It couldn’t have been any easier.The condo itself was nicely laid out. It could use some updated living room furniture, and the washer and dryer are pretty small and older. The views were spectacular the kitchen functioned well and we had a great time. Thank you!

The 4 of us were very impressed with this unit❤️. It had all the appliances and kitchen supplies that we needed. The toilet shower rooms were not terrible but could use updating. The wall separating the 2 bedrooms provides needed privacy. Would definitely rent again Vickie…Corvallis OR

Great View

Perfect place for two couples with two separate bathrooms. Lots of room to hang out. We had 2 twin infants with us, so we spent more time in the unit than we probably would have. Great beach for walking, running. Loved the view, the lanai. We saw outriggers going by each day! We used the AC every day. A little tricky to figure out with the 2 competing AC units. A couple of the living chairs were very uncomfortable. One seemed broken. Liked the pool. A bit cold. Great hot tub!

Great Views and Location

We had a great stay at this unit. We loved the double lanai, and the view from the living room window. The unit was very spacious for our family, and the pool and hot tub were great to relax in at the end of the day. It was a bit windy in the afternoons and evenings when we were here in June. The location is a great in-between for access to Kehei and Lahaina.

Great view but very dated condo

With such a nice view and lots of space in the condo, i don't really understand why the owners don't remodel. This place could be a gem if bathrooms, flooring, and furniture were updated. The bathrooms require the most attention.

Perfect for our family

AC was cold and easy to control. The grounds are beautiful and the condo was huge and clean. Absolutely beautiful view from the two lanais. This property is in the middle of everything (airport, costcos, stores etc.). Great location. I would highly recommend this condo. It made our vacation very enjoyable.

This Is A Wonderful Condo!

This condo comfortably accommodated our family of 6. The condo was very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. The views of the pool, ocean and beach were fantastic. Sugar Beach Resort was the perfect location for us as it provided easy access to other parts of the island. The pool and gathering area were used extensively by our family throughout our trip. Friendly and helpful staff in the Office and Activity Center. We wish we were still there. Mahalo

Great Location

Very roomy 2 BR condo in the Sugar Beach resort with a great ocean view and easy access to the beach. Location is very central and convenient. Much quieter and less crowded than the bigger resort areas like Kaanapali or Wailea. Pool and spa area is nice, but you won't be ordering mai tais from a pool bar like a bigger resort. Living room and kitchen area are pretty updated. The tile floors and bathrooms are starting to show their age and could use a refreshing. Overall very nice. My family preferred this condo to previous ones in the Kaanapali area.
