The second bedroom has a queen bed and is also perfect to relax in after a fun day on the beach or hiking in the nearby mountains. We were never able to enjoy the lanai due to the hot air blowing from the airconditioner. Plus the location of the fan took up a large portion of the lanai. My daughter graduated from college and she and her mother and I spent a few days on Maui to celebrate and this was a fantastic location. Very clear instructions on usage of everything. It was both a good and bad thing to be on the 1st floor. Great to walk out to lawn and beach. Unfortunately it was very hot in June and while there was a breeze it did not cool down the bedrooms even with all windows and doors open.
