"This hotel is one of few that are open outside of the season. 5 minutes drive from Mt Rushmore, cannot beat that. The rooms were quiet and staff friendly. I would stay here again in the future. "

"It was a busy weekend but garbage was not emptied by elevator on 2nd floor. There was trouble with the room key card but staff was good about giving new cards however I believe it was the reader on the door that was the trouble."

"Overall, the room was decent and clean for our family. However, I don’t know why they would ever put a room right next to the lobby. It was extremely loud until late at night with people up and then very loud very early with people eating breakfast. You could hear everything - especially chairs being dragged across the floor. At check in they asked if we would like housekeeping services this weekend, we stated that we would like them and our room was never serviced all weekend. "
