"BRAND NEW EVERYTHING! We really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary parking garage was just one block away, which was very convenient. The continental breakfast was good, and the restaurant and bar were a nice bonus. The foyer was a wonderful place to sit and chat with friends. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower, although the toilet was quite small. For a king room, a comfort-height toilet would have been a nice upgrade. The bedroom itself was also on the smaller side. The hotel's location in the revitalized downtown area was a highlight—it's very walkable and close to attractions. Nice view of historical buildings across the street. Overall, we would recommend this hotel for its location, amenities, and service. The listing said it slept 3 but there was no 2nd bed option. Be sure to verify that availability if desired. One more thing - the bed was a bit firm with no box spring."

"This was my first solo trip in over 25 years!I am a DV survivor and was absolutely terrified of going on this trip solo!! The location was beyond my expectations; as not only did I feel safe enough to not lock the doors, but I was able to relax and sleep better than I have in a long time!Knowing Chuck and Laurie were close, but so respectful of me being there means more than they will ever know!Thank y'all for allowing me to experience this!The house is very well stocked with every day needs, clean and beyond my expectation!I awoke to a bear the first morning. Lol. I've never moved so fast to get back inside, but, it too was a reminder of the simplicity of life that God desires for us if we are willing to trust in Him.I cannot say enough positive things about this property! You must experience it for yourself! I will return to the area, and I will definitely stay here again!"
