The Space:  
Levens Farmstead is a beautifully appointed farmhouse on the outskirts of the charming village of Levens, offering the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. This spacious self-catering retreat is an ideal holiday home for families and groups seeking a peaceful escape in the Lake District. Surrounded by stunning countryside, the property provides a serene setting for relaxation while still being conveniently located for exploring the region's many attractions.  
  
The Farmstead is a truly spacious property, featuring three well-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a super king-sized bed and a private en suite, offering a touch of indulgence. The second bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed and shares a family bathroom, while the third bedroom also has a king-sized bed and its own en suite, ensuring comfort and privacy for all guests. Bed linens and towels are provided for all guests, ensuring a restful and cosy stay.  
  
The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals, from an electric kettle and coffee machine to a full set of cooking utensils, pots, pans, and glassware. A dishwasher and washing machine are also available for your convenience. In the living room, the indoor fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing evenings in front of the TV or enjoying a glass of wine with loved ones.  
  
Outside, the Farmstead boasts a private garden area featuring a hot tub that's ready for use upon arrival and available all year round. The garden provides a peaceful space for outdoor relaxation, whether you're soaking in the hot tub, dining on the patio, or simply enjoying the fresh air. A private entrance and driveway parking ensure easy access and security for your stay.  
  
Whether you're here to explore the stunning landscapes of the Lake District or simply to unwind in a peaceful countryside setting, Levens Farmstead is the perfect home away from home.  
  
Guest Access:  
At the Farmstead, guests have access to the entire house and the outdoor hot tub.  
  
Check in is self-check in via pre shared instructions and lockbox code that will be issued on the day of arrival.  
  
If you do plan to travel with your pets, we kindly request that furry friends are always supervised and not left unattended.  
  
Please be aware that the hot tub is legally only allowed for 16+ years of age and should not be used after 11:30PM.

Guests can indulge in local flavours at the nearby Gilpin Bridge Inn, or explore the historic Levens Hall and its beautiful gardens. Offering both seclusion and convenience, Levens Farmstead is a wonderful base for discovering the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the area, with Kendal’s amenities within easy reach.

For visitors new to the area, getting around Levens and the South Lakeland district is quite manageable with several transport options. Renting a car offers the most flexibility, allowing you to explore the Lake District’s scenic drives and more remote attractions.  
  
Public transport includes local bus services that connect Levens to nearby towns like Kendal, while taxis and ride-shares are available, particularly in larger towns. For those relying on trains, the nearest stations are at Oxenholm Kendal and Windermere, with connections to major cities like Manchester, London, and Glasgow.
