« L’établissement a vraiment besoin d’une bonne rénovation, les tapis des couloirs ont plus que besoin d’être changé. Séjour un soir de semaine, peu achalandé, il semblait y avoir que des habitués qui jouaient au vidéo poker et au pool. Service peu cordial, on avait l’impression de déranger. »

« Hôtel historique (19ème siècle) au centre de la petite et typique ville de Jim Thorpe. Chambre (Deluxe King) vaste, propre plutôt bien équipée avec SdB séparée avec baignoire. La chambre donnait sur la rue donc assez bruyante... même la nuit (passage des éboueurs, traffic tôt le matin). Accueil un peu réservé mais les cookies offerts à l'arrivée sont sympas! Le pub attenant est très sympa et nous avons bénéficié par l'hôtel d'un bon pour un PdJ américain à 7$. »

« A MUST STAY!!! This was our second visit to Jim Thorpe but our first stay at the Y on Broadway and we will NEVER stay anywhere else!! This boutique hotel is full of charm and warmth from both their magnificent fireplace and staff! Beth took the time to tell me all about the rich history of the building, one of the original YMCA locations in all of the US, and we had the pleasure of meeting Duke, one of the owners, who took me on a private tour to show me the beautifully rustic double bed frames...
