« We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. « Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. One thing to be aware of before booking is that this condo does not have air conditioning. That was my oversight when booking, but I didn’t realize the evenings would get warm enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. « What a great spot if you’re staying on the South end. The condo is spacious, has a fabulous lanai, a well stocked kitchen, and a comfy bed. Just a short walk to Poipu beach for sunrise and sunset walks and turtle and seal viewing. Also Maha’ulepu trail is quite close for a great scenic hike. The hosts were super attentive and helpful and left some welcome snacks which was a nice touch. While there is no AC, the condo is on an upper floor and gets plenty of breezes to keep it cool. »

Few things which were disappointing was the noise from the wild chickens that wander the property. They started making noise every morning at round 3AM. They are loud and I had to put on my noise cancellation headphones to get back to sleep. « My husband and I were very comfortable at the condo. We loved being able to walk to the beach at the property or to Poipubeach as well. The pool and Cabana at the athletic club were a nice alternative. The condo was clean and had all that we needed. The only thing that we found lacking was a dresser to unpack our suitcases. « Nous avons aimé le site de Kihuanna plantation. Belle propriété. Le condo est bien Mais moins grand qu’anticipé. Cependant, considérant le prix de la propriété, nous avons été déçus de devoir payer des frais de nettoyage additionnels de plus lors du check-out de 250$ pour seulement 3 jours. Le prix affiché VRBO n’est donc pas le prix final payé. C’est trompeur et ce fut une Mauvaise surprise lors de notre départ. Dommage. »
