"This was a very nice hotel! The room was very clean and updated. It looked like a newer hotel and had cute little sitting areas. We didn't remember the breakfast times and were a couple of minutes late and one of the workers wouldn't let us leave without food. So nice as it saved us time and money 😊"

"Amazing. Newly renovated schoolhouse, so everything was clean and new. Rooms were cozy and comfortable, quaint. I'm sorry I only had one night to stay there. It was a pleasant surprise in the middle of the rural countryside. They did a great job renovating and preserving history."

"We have been staying in VRBO houses for more than 15 years and this house was one of the best. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-enough equipped to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Comfy chairs were abundant. Several outdoor areas were so inviting we almost hung in them in the rain. Nesting birds included warblers and orioles. One note--do NOT try to access the scenic overlook at fort ransom state park when the road is wet!!! We almost did not make it out; the park should put up a sign stating such."
