nice overall

The room was nice ans the building was in good shape. The pool and spa area were not in service, which was unfortunate, since we were looking forward to using it. The staff didn’t give us any heads up about it at check in, we had to find out by a sign posted on the door. A wedding was happening and many of the guests stayed on our floor. A lot of them we’re very drunk and running down the halls screaming loudly. Our hallway also smelled heavily of marijuana. Not the hotel’s fault, but still unfortunate.

Trash cans

It was nice however there were not enough trash cans in suite and not enough staff to attend to rooms in a more timely manner.

Mostly Positive Experience

The facility was older, but clean and attractive, and the desk clerk was friendly and informative. I broke an ankle while traveling which delayed our leaving O'Hare and arrival at the hotel. We had not eaten and the restaurant was open for another 12 minutes, so we ordered two burgers. The grill chef was apparently frustrated with our late orders and slammed his mop handle to the floor while obviously mumbling his frustration. The burgers and bread were very dry and tasteless. Breakfast the following morning, however, was a much better and tastier experience. Overall, we were happy with the facility and staff. The chef's demeanor was the only negative aspect of our stay.
