"This is a nice hotel with good size room. All the staff were polte and helpfull. There is a nice swimming pool and hotel provides complimentary tee / cofee and biscuits in the afternoon which is a nice touch. The only negative is that the area approaching the hotel is very run down so go from a poor area to nice area within the hotel boundary which is a bit unfortunate. We would be more than happy to stay at the hotel agaim."

"Tout a été parfait, merci ! Accueil impeccable (personnel souriant et soucieux de rendre service, on vous porte les valises), on m'a même acheté mon ticket de métro pour partir, très tôt le matin, parce que j'avais peur de ne pas pouvoir le faire à la station et l'application ne prend pas les cartes internationales ! C'est très propre, neuf, et très bien placé : un peu en retrait donc au calme, mais à 15mn à pied du métro, près de l'aéroport, près d'un très joli temple (Vadapalani, 20mn à pied)....

"I recently stayed at The Leela Palace Chennai, and while we faced several challenges during our stay, I would especially like to appreciate Duty Manager Arghya Sarkar. We had issues with the room, AC, and food service, which left us quite disappointed initially. However, when we met Mr. Arghya Sarkar, everything changed in terms of how we felt as guests. He was extremely polite, patient, and genuinely attentive. He took the time to listen carefully to our concerns without interruption and handled the situation with professionalism and empathy. In hospitality, problems can happen — but what truly matters is how they are handled. Mr. Sarkar’s calm demeanor, respectful communication, and sincere effort to make things right made a real difference to us. Because of people like him, we would still consider coming back to The Leela. Thank you, sir, for restoring our faith and for showing what true hospitality looks like🙏"

I was contacted late in the evening to provide my passport and additional documentation for their records, which would have been much more convenient and less disruptive if handled fully at check-in.The food was quite average compared with restaurants and hotels of a similar category in Chennai, and did not particularly stand out. With improvements in cleanliness, bathroom maintenance, and front-desk procedures, this hotel could offer a much smoother and more enjoyable guest experience in a very good location."
