« The property and the unit we stayed in was absolutely amazing. The balcony was right over the private beach and it’s also where the sunset so the view was beautiful. Right out the front door was the pool and spa and a few steps more and you’re on the beach. « Stayed in Kauhale Makai 102 for 7 nights. A few suggestions: -since it is a studio, consider upgrading the refrigerator to a quieter model that does't sound like a noisy engine running right next to you ! - the mattress needs replacing, very saggy in the middle and way too soft »

« The property location was exactly what we wanted, easy access to the Wailea beachfront walking path and directly on the beach. We had a great time but if you are considering this place you need to go in with your eyes wide open. It was very pricey for how tired this unit is. It badly needs a full renovation. The tile is from the 1980's, the carpet is gross and crunchy. When we arrived late, it appeared someone had tried to break in the sliding doors and that set off numerous R&M emails...
