"We've been staying at this location for 4yrs and after this stay, we wouldn't come back if in this area. Run down, construction in same areas for over a year in same areas, large cobwebs in our room. We had gone to the pool on 2nd night and no towels. Went to the front desk and the woman at front desk told us they had no towels for the pool so we asked from dry rooms towels and were told they had none and we saw them in housekeeping. She was useless and I believe wife of GM. GM was friendly, but she was very sparky."
"Some of the electrical outlets in the room did not work. Fitted bed sheet kept coming off. Jacuzzi tub power button needs replaced. Cover would fall off when pushed. "
"The room was somewhat small and did appreciate the extra door; gave off uncomfortable vibes. Also there was no bar soap in bathroom nor soap dish. They did have wall mounted dispensers but it was just strange also they could use fabric softener for bath towels, wash clothes, etc and the tissue was brutally dry and harsh.
We paid an extra fee for breakfast when we booked and that was so well worth it. However it would have been helpful if front desk workers mention they have an on site full restaurant and had a small map of layout of building verses wondering around following signs. Overall it was a nice place."
"Disappointed in the lack of accessible features even the front door's button to access the door coming and going didn't work and for people already struggling with bags trying to hold the door and bring bags in a struggle let alone a handicapable person.
Breakfast was okay towels were refreshed but beds not made seemed bare minimum in many places. "
"We have family that live in Waupaca and recently we’ve had numerous events over the years where when we come to town, we stay at this hotel. We recently had a loved one passed away and we’ve been there three times in the last month in relation to that situation.
The hotel is conveniently located. I feel very safe there. The staff are very good. I find the breakfast is to be good as well. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again in the future when we need to be in town for any family events.
The only concern that I would express to the owners of this establishment. The ice machine has been broken on the second floor for over two years. I find that to be unacceptable. We tend to always get a second floor room and I have to walk down to the first floor to get ice every time we’re there.
The other issue I would point out to the owner. Is the laundry room Service has been out of order for the last five weeks. When I asked at the front desk, they told me well. The washer works. But the dryer needs to be replaced. I stated well it doesn’t do much good to wash my clothes if I can’t dry them.
Overall, I would highly recommend you staying here. No great concerns and would recommend any of my family or friends to stay there."
