Loved the balcony with Adirondack chairs. Loved the vaulted ceiling. Would not stay in any other part of the hotel though. The new area is fresh and our room even had a dishwasher! Would definitely recommend the alpine rooms.

Overall the hotel was nice but we had a terrible experience at their in-house restaurant. The front desk said breakfast was between 7 and 10 and when we approached the restaurant their was a buffet and a menu option. We told the hostess we were just there for the buffet which we were made to believe was included. There were no signs anywhere including on the menu that said what the buffet cost and neither the hostess nor the front desk mentioned that to us. We ended up paying $22 a person for a low quality buffet which was more expensive than everything else on their menu. It is completely unacceptable to not have the price of a meal advertised anywhere and then come in with a surprise bill. We could have gone to Terra or another wonderful restaurant for the cost of our terrible surprise buffet.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfy, room was quiet. Would be nice to see a few more options on the menus, especially breakfast. As someone who can’t eat eggs unless I picked at the buffet the menu didn’t offer me much.
