« I travel to So. Illinois annually to visit but this is my first stay at the Makanda Inn. It will not be my last. I had a very peaceful stay- after long days of family visit and running around with the grands, it was so nice to stay here where it was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast every morning was top notch and just the right portions. »

« Very friendly hosts. Met them and they were a pleasure to interact with. They had one of the most complete array of amenities that we have ever encountered in our trips! We did have some issues with losing TV service on our last night, but I imagine that it was not their fault.All in all a pleasant experience. »

« Property is super cute. Check in was easy. Host communicated very quickly. Had everything you would need to stay for an extended period of time. Delicious zucchini bread provided for breakfast. Easy to find. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Southern Illinois. »
