We had a slight problem with the heating on the Saturday evening and Fiona and her husband came round right away and fixed it in a few minutes. The flat is very central to all the bars and restaurants and 5 mins walk to the beach."

"From the outside this accommodation does not look promising- a ground floor property in a block of council flats, the shared hallway is pretty bleak. But the flat itself was fine, a bit basic but it had everything we needed, nice and clean, plenty of towels, quiet despite being next to a busy road. Parking was difficult - in theory there is on street parking but there is a Vehicle Hire/Garage business next door so all the parking spaces are taken up by their vehicles. En-suite shower thermostat was temperamental. Visited Culzean, Turnberry hotel for spa and afternoon tea. Local pub/restaurants such as Souter’s, Wildings, Balkenna, Anchorage in Dunure, Saffy’s and Wellingtons in Ayr. Coop in Maybole and Asda in Girvan useful for provisions.
