The house was plenty big for our large crew, clean and warm, once Kathleen helped us to turn on the furnace and hot water heater.There are three bedrooms downstairs - 2 with queen beds and ensuites and 1 room with 2 single beds. There is a full bath off the hallway near the large kitchen and separate living room with a peat fireplace. « The positive was Mark was super friendly, very warm, very accommodating and came up with work-arounds for our issues. The property is lovely and there are views of the river from every window. The negatives were that the pictures weren’t entirely accurate. When we travel it’s essential that we can do laundry. This stop was one of several on our trip and we pack light anticipating we’ll be able to wash our clothes along the way. The washer/dryer in the kitchen was replaced by a mini refrigerator...

« Beautiful cottage. Everything was wonderful. Very clean. Central location to access the area. Short driving distance to Galway and Connemara. It was the walking distance to Oughterard was fabulous. Cute stores, restaurants and groceries if needed. Christa welcomed us in and she was a wonderful host. The scones were the extra bonus. »
