Great Location

Trade Show at the Convention Center

We booked this place to stay for a trade show from Monday until Friday. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the place and the high ceilings. It was very roomy. The bonus was the building was connected to inside walkways to the convention center. Additionally, we brought a dog that enjoyed the stay as well. I highly recommend this place, and we plan to book again next year. The only negative thing was that we only had one key fob to enter, which became a bit of a challenge, but we worked through it. Next year we will request at least two.

Overall nice stay

The responses to our questions during our stay were timely. There were issues with the tv, and a service man was sent to fix the issue. The air conditioning was not working, and we were told that a maintenance order would be submitted. The AC was not functioning while we were there. On check-in, we had some difficulty finding the entrance from the street. The door is directly under The Block sign, rather than how it’s described in the check-in instructions. The layout of the apartment was such that it was quiet in the bedrooms for sleeping. Excellent location for all things downtown. We were there for the Indy Mini, and we could walk to all places we needed to go.

Biz Trip

Very responsive owner. The location of this apartment is almost unbeatable, if you are attending a conference. And it is huge. Super quiet in the apt. we stayed in. Could not hear neighbors or street noise. It is almost eerily quiet. It is an old bldg. so be prepared for old building things. Bed was comfortable in first bedroom. More towels, liquid dish soap, and a small fan on hand - would have been great. But we managed, and TJ MAXX is literally downstairs. Very convenient. If I ever go back, I would stay there again.

Great place!

We were attending a conference and this was a perfect place to stay. Access to the Skywalk made the trip to the conference center quick and easy. Plenty of space to spread out and work. Communication was great and very helpful. Check in and check out was easy. Thanks for hosting us!

Spacious and comfortable home away from home

My wife and I wanted to take our two year old to visit the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. We didn’t want to break the bank on our stay and wanted somewhere central downtown. This was the perfect property. The apartment is extremely spacious and could easily sleep 8 comfortably, as the description suggested. The beds were very comfortable, we both had great nights of sleep. Everything was very clean and the kitchen has everything you’d need to cook during your stay. We loved having access to Netflix and YouTube TV, that was a nice touch. One review mentioned street noise, but we did not notice street noise from either of the two bedrooms, which are set back from the windows of the apartment that face the street. We actually found the apartment to be quite quiet! The central location of the apartment downtown can’t be beat, you’re within walking distance of great restaurants, can use the skywalk to access the mall and other locations, and are a short drive away from almost anything else you’d want to visit. Communication with the property manager Lewis was great. He responded within minutes to any question, and provided great detail in accessing the apartment and for checking out. We will definitely be back and look forward to our next stay!

Many small issues just kept adding up

Communication with and response time from Lewis of tranquil oasis was really superb throughout our stay. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like they were quite ready for us when we arrived. There were 2 bags of dirty linens right outside the door of the apartment to greet us, dirty dishes in the dishwasher,no hand soap in the bathrooms and three glade plug ins air fresheners in the rooms dialed up to maximum that really overwhelmed the space. (We opened the single window to air it out and that really helped.) I intended to sleep on the sofabed in the living room but couldnt find extra sheets or pillows and the noise from the street below was too much for me. (I'm accursomed to my wooded property on a quiet street in northern Indiana.) I tried to set the security alarm inside the apartment and quickly realized I didn't have the code. At that point every time I opened the door the alarm went off. (About 5 times.) User error? Absolutely. But it was terribly upsetting and I didn't have any idea it wasn't supposed to be used. Good news: communication from tranquil oasis manager, Lewis, was really fantastic. Moreover, the owner's on site representative, Eric, arrived quickly in response to my concerns and went above and beyond to resolve the issues. He brought hand soap, bottled water and even added time to my parking meter so I didn't have to go back out later that night. Those efforts were really appreciated!

Amazing property!!

Owner communication and helpfulness was incredible. Very hospitable and easy to work with. Property was in a really convenient spot and neat historical building. If I am ever in Indianapolis again, I know where to stay.
