« We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. »

« Nous n'avons pas utilisé le déjeuner. Comme il faisait froid la terrasse extérieure n'était pas agréable, pas d'espace intérieure pour manger son propre déjeuner et pas de table dans la chambre. Par contre par temps chaud la terrasse doit être très agréable. Très bien situé, belle plage à quelques pas. Traverse en bateau facile sans réservation à l'avance, hors saison. »

"Super emplacement, bel hôtel. Restaurants vraiment très bons. Mais l’hôtel se trouve dans une marina piétonne donc n’est accessible que par une rue piétonne assez longue quand vous avez de lourds bagages. Et franchement un hôtel de cette qualité qui fait payer 15 euros (et plus si vous êtes plus que nous avec 2 voyageurs et 1 bagage chacun -car c’est facturé au nombre de voyageurs et de bagages) pour se faire amener de l’hôtel à la route principale en voiture de golfe conduite par un local, c’est assez choquant. Le transport des hôtes pour sortir de la marina piétonne et accéder au taxi sur la route devrait être gratuit. Il y a également un système ridicule de cartes pour obtenir des serviettes de plage."
