"Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt. The resort is beautiful, with a stunning private beach, a fantastic pool, and a fun swim-up bar. The grounds were well maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The restaurants served delicious food, and the staff in the dining areas were friendly and attentive. There were a few areas that could be improved. As a pescatarian, I found dining somewhat challenging because pork was included in many dishes, limiting my options. It would be great if the resort offered more clearly labeled vegetarian and pescatarian choices. I was also disappointed with the front desk experience. When I asked for matches or a lighter so I could light my daughter’s birthday cupcake, they weren’t able to assist. While it may seem like a small request, it would have made her celebration more special. Another downside was the coffee. The coffee served at the resort was disappointing, and because the property is fairly isolated, we had to drive about 20 miles to find better options. Despite these minor issues, we truly enjoyed our vacation. The beautiful beach, excellent pool, and overall resort experience made for a memorable trip. With a few improvements to the dining options and guest services, this would have been a perfect trip!"

"Ideal location for a relaxing stay in Vieques. It was just 5 minutes away from restaurants in Esperanza and we loved the size of our cottage. The property was huge and the view overlooking the ocean was our favorite way to end the night each night. Beach chairs and towels were available everyday to go to local beaches. We ate breakfast each morning at the hotel and it was always good. We understand it was low season but it would have been nice to have a bar or service to get beverages during the day. At night we didn’t even see the bar was open—it’s just not noticeable. Rooms were well air-conditioned and cleaned each day."

"When I booked through Expedia, I didn’t get an email for gate codes until the night I arrived on the island.. I had to call the number and the phone line wasn’t a good connection - lady was hard to hear/understand. However shortly thereafter hanging up, I received a text message with all the information. The guesthouse was beautifully maintained! Room had ice cold ac.. the shower water didn’t get that warm, but it was charming! Very close to El Yunque Rainforest, lots of restaurants and beautiful scenery! The people and culture here are charming! I would overall rate my experience here a 8/10, and would definitely choose to book here again in the future."
