"This is the fourth Queen Lili’uokalani Outrigger Paddle race where we’ve stayed at the Pacific 19. The proximity to the Kona pier makes the location extremely convenient for the races, and the hotel is centrally located to all the fun things Kona has to offer. This year, we had a first floor room, located steps away from the filtered water dispenser and with easy access to the hotel lobby morning coffee. The pool is large, clean and inviting, and the outdoor space is well lit and nicely appointed. The open air lobby is quite beautiful and a nice place to meet friends. The staff is warm and helpful. We are already planning our next visit."

"Great location! Everything was very close by. The pool and the beach were excellent. Snorkeling at the beach was ok but it gets better if you go further out. Our room had an issue with ants during our trip. The hotel just sent housekeeping over but the ants kept coming. Also my beach front view was blocked by a big tree and it was also very noisy in some mornings with the gardeners. Despite all of this, I still had a great time in Kona! There are some great beach parks within a 10-15 mins drive too!"

"Place was clean. Instructions were clear. There is air conditioning just be mindful that in the loft bedroom there isn’t a unit so it gets pretty toasty up there but manageable! There were quite a few cockroaches but all were dead except for one so honestly good when in Hawaii! Great communication with questions. Very nice and kind hosts. Great place! Would stay again!"
