"That staff was helpful when the bathtub in the first room wouldn’t drain after showering. And the room was not prepped for new guests as there was no bathroom tissue. As it was a Friday, the maintenance had gone home for the weekend. So they did give us a new room. It’s nice to have a continental breakfast included, I am sorry to say but it needs much improvement in the prep and taste."

"Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The check in was seamless. The room was clean and the beds were very very comfortable. The bathroom was large and everything was perfect. The breakfast, well that was something else. It was absolutely the best breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel I’ve ever stayed over the years. The fact it was pet friendly was excellent too. It was close to everything in Bedford. I would highly recommend this property for a stay."

"Great location for a Halifax visit. In particular this was excellent for participating in the Halifax marathon. In addition it was a short walk to the waterfront. Close to the Cidatel and public gardens. Room size was good and well house kept. Noise level was a little high due to wedding guests and a relatively busy street. I would note that depending on the time of day there were a lot of homeless people when walking to the waterfront. No issues at all, just noteworthy. Great hotel! Don’t ignore the restaurant, it’s quite good for breakfast!"
