"Nice little motel, big rooms, very clean. Had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. A/c worked and was even pretty quiet. Used the hot tub, it was very nice after a long day of driving. Small breakfast available, food was good. Packaged muffins, fresh breads and bagels, oatmeal and cereal. Packaged boiled eggs. Milk and oj. Coffee and hot water to make tea or hot cocoa. Salida is a beautiful town, would stay here again."

"The property was recently sold and i feel they were not quite ready for quest .amenities were poor .The room was quiant but there were no hangers or alot of space to put things .This property has great potential. The new owners were working daily on improvements .The closest dining is in salida which is about 15 minutes from the property."

"We had a wonderful time at Star Mesa cabin. It suited us perfectly. The privacy and beauty really set this place apart. Communication was immediate and amenities were everything you enjoy at home. For us it was located just far enough out of town to get away from the congestion and noise but close enough to drive in for groceries or a nice dinner without much hassle. We will absolutely book this cabin again!"

"Everything was just great. Large ranch with beds for 12 was very comfortable. We opened everything up in the evenings to cool the house and closed in the morning and it stayed cool in the day. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with many spices and dishes and pans etc. The grill was the best I ave ever had at any rental house. Janet was very responsive to all requests and very timely too. It was a great stay and the house was a key part of out trip."
