« Beautiful room, real demonstration of how to renovate a Victorian seafront room. Spotless, comfortable, quiet, amazing sea view. Alison and her staff were super-friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast. A perfect base for exploring the area. Only tiny quibble is that the extractor fan in the (otherwise excellent) bathroom is very noisy. Fine as long as you remember to close the bathroom door until the fan stops! »

Puis nous avons demandé pour un entretien avec notre visiteur, au calme car il y avait un match de foot dans le grand salon et beaucoup de bruit, sollicitant de nous mettre dans un salon annexe, réponse: “no that’s not possible”. « Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money. Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky. TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer. A few minor issues that could be improved upon are; TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible. There is no mirror next to plug sockets for styling hair etc. There are only 3 parking spaces and when we were there the first night,...

« Ideal location for Holy Island! Extremely clean rooms with towels, hairdryer, ironing board, tea/coffee facilities. Food is fantastic and breakfast was included which was delicious. Great customer service. Would I go again….most definitely »

« A 200 year old pub and inn - interesting ! Unfortunately our room was fairly horrible, we definitely got the hotels.com room : 200 year old mattress, wall view, kitchen vents under the window and lots of noise when we (or the neighbours) ran any water. Food in the evening was good and breakfast ok (very dingy dining room). Everything needs an overhaul. The staff were great though ! »
