I don't often leave reviews, but I really hope that the owners of this motel take my comments to heart. Stayed for 1night for a hockey tournament (son and I). Front desk manager was very friendly and super helpful. He had spent 3 days with a small snowblower trying to clear 2 feet of snow out of the parking area. Entry, sidewals and parking were a skating rink and not a scoop of salt to be found. I commented to the manager that this was a slip and fall liability waiting to happen and apparently the owners were too cheap to provide a $20 bag of salt. All other hotels in the area, and the mcdonalds across the street were well plowed and salted, and continued to be done as there was freezing rain in Hope. Sadly, keeping the motel safe for customers was NOT a priority for owners. Now the room itself - At first, i thought the condition was to be expected for a basic, older motel, but then I realized that it really wasn't all that clean. I tried not to look at walls, baseboards, etc. too closely, but when I lifted the toilet seat, there was dried urine on the back side. Rooms have new flooring, but desperately need repainting. bed coverlet and dusty lampshades need replacing, but all the furniture from the 80s was fine and bed was comfy. Not sure what ownership's intention with the place is - hold for land value? what was probably once a fine motel is now probably just a place to crash for pipeline workers. MOved to Harrison next night for the same price and 1000% times better.

We were very disappointed. We had stayed before a few years ago as a one night stop over and booked again as a one night stop over. Easy access from the highway and good parking in front of unit. Property looks well maintained. The gentlemen at the front desk, likely the owner, was not friendly or even remotely professional. Certainly a bad first inmpression. The room was dated which isn’t that big of deal to us but it was not clean. I expected the same level of cleanliness as our previous visit but was disappointment. You could tell that the surfaces had only been minimally wiped down. There was dust and finger prints and what looked like splatter on the cupboard doors and coffee pot and even in the bathroom. It was clear that in spite of Covid there was only a cursory wipe down done. I would have been unhappy with the level of cleanliness pre-Covid but I was very unhappy this time. There are better places to stay and we will stay elsewhere on our next trip through.

It's definitely a budget hotel, price could be definitely lower. Turn bathroom light on in the middle of the night wakes all up. No seperate light in bathroom. Shower rod is all rusted. Soap doesn't get sudsy. Plastic cover over hanger rack is all broken. Needed a vacuum, stuff behind dressers.

Booked online and commented that we had a dog. When we arrived they were not happy that we have a small dog, a pug. Told she couldn’t go on the bed or they’d have to clean the bedding. What, don’t you clean the bedding after each guest? Said he’d only charge us $5 but when I looked at the bill when we got to the room the pet chat was $10. Room was clean but OLD furniture and comforter. Not worth the $ we paid. Won’t go back, lots to chose from that will appreciate our business.

We are truly sorry that you were not happy with our pet policy. Our Expedia post clearly shows that we charge additional $10.00 fee for the pet but we believe we only charged $5.00 not $10.00. When you book next time using Expedia, please ensure to mention that you will be arriving with the pet as there was no mention of your pet at the time of your booking.
