"Host was extremely helpful but this property needs to be cleaned up and repairs performed in bathrooms. I saw 9 cockroaches and killed 6 myself in 1 month of staying here. Despite the host assuring me this is normal this was unacceptable"

"When we arrived to check in, there was a young family with three kids already there who had booked it that day. We called "Christopher" and he did not know what happened, was flummoxed as to what to do, and not very helpful. Our reservations were made 2 months plus earlier but we could not see forcing the young family out and they were also adamant about not leaving since they had been drinking and were not in a condition to leave. We finally voluneered to find other alternatives for three days (the other family's booking) and would then return. Christopher assured us we would be compensated. After a week of badgering after we had left the house, I finally got a note from Christopher saying we would be getting a 450 refund, When it finally showed up on our credit card, the amount was 387. We got no apologies or thanks for our gesture of leaving. We got no additional monies beyond the daily rate refund. According to what Christopher told us, VRBO was not cooperative nor helpful.Having said all this, once we were in the house, it was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was pretty sparse in supplies and there were no condiments of any type, even salt and pepper. Had probably the nicest leather couches I have ever seen, let alone in a rental house."

"The house was well appointed with all the things you need to be comfortable. The shower pressure was a favorite feature! The owner was quick to respond to questions during the stay! The location was great for visiting Everglades National Park! "

"Everything was alright until the house motion sensor alarm started going off. It went off twice when we went out the back door and sat in the living room. Then the owner came and told us that we were being too loud and kicked us out after midnight. Super rude. Such a scam. Never rent this place out!!!!"

"Host was awesome. Dishwasher was not working properly but did not affect our stay. Pool and hot tub worked out perfectly for our needs. Overall great stay. I’m sure we will be back. Ty. "

"Place was not ready at desired time 1.5 hours if not more waiting for it to be ready. and no concessions were given. No check in instructions were sent, place was not clean (dirty cups and ball of hair on wall of shower) stopped answering our messages after the first day and our designated parking spot was taken on the last day. Again, no response to our messages to rectify the issue. Place smelled like backed up old water and you could hear people and a washer and dryer late at night from upstairs unit while we were trying to sleep. Sounded like they were drying shoes (so loud). "
