This condo was a comfortable and conveniently located home base for us. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had. Check in and check out was “contactless” which was super convenient. P.S. Plenty of restaurants in the area. The beds got mixed reviews from our group of four-two loved them, two were less in love, but I think you will have personal preferences anywhere you go! The little kitchen was just big enough to suit our needs. Sitting on the balcony in the mornings and listening to the birds was a favorite for all of us. The two drawbacks would be that there were no beach towels, so pack your own or plan on buying them when you get here as we did and the laundry is a pay-per-load with an app to download and load funds to. If you only need one load, you can’t pay for just one load. But, if you know what to expect the unit should be just fine. It made exploring the Hilo Side of the island much easier! Bathtub was moldy & nasty. The bathroom, shutters, lamp fixtures were very dusty like the place had not been cleaned in a while. The kitchen is tiny & no dining table or chairs to eat at. There is no AC like advertised, just some kind of air cooler which was very noisy. The pillows are hard as rock. The condo & building is in very poor shape. Very pricy for what we got.
