"Beautiful quiet setting, small but comfortable room and great outdoor area for our dogs. Stayed in the Charlie Russell room and loved the decor. No air conditioner but fans kept room comfortable. Would have liked to have been able to try out restaurant but it was closed during our visit. The 20 minute drive from town was well worth it."

Remote cabin on 40 acres with wildlife and no distractions.

"MAKE SURE YOUR VEHICLE CAN GO UP STEEP GRAVEL ROADS. DEER JUST IN FRONT OF YOU AS YOU HAVE YOUR MORNING COFFEE ON THE PORCH, NOTHING BEATS THAT. DON'T EXPECT ANY ELECTRONICS TO WORK, IT'S IN THE TOOLIES. NO TV, NO PHONES, BRING CARDS OR BOARD GAMES IF YOU HAVE KIDS. IT'S QUIET. AIR CONDITIONER WASN'T ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH THE MASSIVE HEAT, BUT THE COOL NIGHT BREEZE MADE UP FOR IT."

"This is a grand old house and the owners are great hosts. They take wonderful care of the property and respond to any questions quickly. The house is a stately old Lewistown house. The best part is the porch! We all sat out there every evening and even enjoyed a major thunder storm while on the porch one night, without getting really wet.The house is well kept and has a brand new kitchen. We highly recommend “The Governor’s House” and it’s proprietors. ."

"We had amazing stay at this kid friendly cabin. There was more than enough space and tons of fun options for everyone. The hosts were amazingly helpful and communicative. We'll definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to stay nearby."
