Drury Inn & Suites Gainesville

10/10 Excellent

"I chose this hotel because we’ve had great experiences with the Drury brand in the past, and this stay reminded me exactly why. The moment I walked through the door and smelled the fresh hot popcorn, I knew I made the right choice. The lobby is spacious with plenty of comfortable seating for guests. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and fast — a great first impression. Our room was large, beautifully decorated, and spotless. The beds were clean and comfortable, the TV was big, and having a microwave and fridge/freezer combo was a nice bonus. There were also a couple of comfortable chairs that made it easy to relax. Truly, nothing more I could have asked for. At 5:30, the evening “Kickback” spread was excellent. It’s not meant to be a full dinner, but it was more than enough for me — tasty, fresh, and convenient. The next morning, the breakfast staff opened early so we could eat before heading out. They served eggs, grits, biscuits with gravy, potatoes, several meats, and plenty of other items. Everything was very good, and drinks were included, which really topped off the stay. All of these extras — popcorn, evening food, breakfast, drinks — are included as part of your stay, not add‑ons. That’s rare these days. I’m really falling in love with Drury Inn & Suites, and the Gainesville location set the bar very high"

"That place is magical but the humidity inside the cabin is intense, the AC was running non stop and there is a noisy vent that I don’t believe it is doing it’s work properly. The toilet paper felt humid"
