"My husband and I needed a few days of quiet and solitude and Janet and her cottage were perfect in every way! The covered porch made for a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the rain and the birds singing. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen provided what I needed to cook (one of my ways to unwind), the fireplace was a great addition...Janet thought of everything. The property and the cottage exude peace...just what we needed!"

"Our combined annual family gathering is no small event: 22 in all! We host them the first weekend of January each year and this place was magical! (It didn’t hurt that it snowed too!) Modern appliances, very cool history, and plenty of space for all. It was perfect! Thank you to our hosts for being available, excellent communicators, and just great to work with. Sycamore Springs is awesome, especially the skating rink! Long story short, it was great! (We want to come back in warmer months.)"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The host was super accommodating and responsive. We spent most of our time out by the lake. There is very limited fishing due to some type of fish that eat everything (clearly not the fisherman) there was swimming for the kids and other water activities which was great."
