« Our large group had a great time at Green Gables. Communications with our hosts were prompt and efficient. The home is beautiful and was more than enough room for our 20 group. We were able to prepare meals everyday in the kitchen, there was more than enough room especially with 4 people cooking. The table was way bigger than the picture made it seem. We were able to fit a large amount of us during meals and playing games. Our group was skeptical about the bathroom situation, but the 5 bathrooms...

« We stayed for two weeks in this quaint home. The first week was characterized by rain, rain, rain, but we needed rest, rest, rest, so we made a fire (it was actually chilly) and ventured out only for food. The area food choices are AWESOME! If you drew a 20 mile circle around the area, you’d be amazed at the quality of food choices available. We hiked in the area, visited Bushkill Falls, and met kind folks all over the area. We had a very nice time. »

« Great environment, and Hiram is a very friendly host. Our family of 4 has stayed at the "bridge cottage" (unit "109" out of 8 (?)) for 2 nights, in a very relaxing place (forest/pond/pool). We were looking for a place to rest between big cities' craziness and the cottage was a perfect fit. Wifi was terrible though, barely functional. As long as you don't mind an overall rustic/shabby feel, you'll probably have as good a time here as we did. Worth noting, Hiram answered all our questions really...

The house needs some improvement like new beds and bathroom mats and downstairs bathroom needs a new lock. « This property was perfect for our family and two dogs. It literally has everything you could need - from coffee pods, sugar and creamer to extra dog dishes, poop bags and an outside dog lead! We loved spending time by the firepit, exploring the creek, napping in the hammocks. Great place to do absolutely nothing! Keep an eye out for the water snake we found who lives creekside next to the house- harmless- just likes to sun himself peacefully. :) »
