Bears Rest - Authentic Mountain Experience

Bears Rest is a cozy one-bedroom mountain cabin tucked into the wooded beauty of Sautee Nacoochee, just 4.5 miles from downtown Helen. With warm wood interiors, a private hot tub, outdoor dining, and a peaceful forest setting, this cabin is a sweet little hideaway for couples or a small family looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the North Georgia Mountains.

Inside, the cabin has a comfortable queen bedroom and a twin daybed, making it a good fit for up to three guests. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, stovetop and oven, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, dinnerware, and everything needed for simple meals at the cabin. The warm lodge-style decor gives Bears Rest a true mountain feel, while central heat and air, Wi-Fi, cable television, and ceiling fans keep your stay comfortable.

Step outside and enjoy coffee on the deck, dinner in the outdoor dining area, or a quiet evening soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking, shopping, tubing, or exploring Helen. Bears Rest is close to Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, hiking trails, local restaurants, wineries, shops, and the Bavarian charm of Alpine Helen.
