Disappointing Stay – Overpriced and Not as Advertised
I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting my children's school. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
The hotel itself was okay, and the staff were friendly and tried their best to help. However, the facilities were far from what I expected, especially considering the price.
My main concern was the bathroom. Instead of a properly finished bathroom floor, it appeared to have some kind of plastic flooring or covering, which felt cheap and unhygienic. It certainly didn't make me feel comfortable using the shower.

"Impressive and pleasant property. Large comfortable room and very comfortable bed. Extremely limited casual dining menu and mediocre results. The fine dining menu was more interesting and produced better results. Decent wine list. The bar staff had a difficult time taking orders and producing drinks. ..."

7.8/10 Good! (337 reviews)
"Hotel room was small, old fashioned and dismal. An attempt had been made to freshen up emulsion on walls, but paint was left on the skirting boards. The doors paintwork needed washing and painting. The shower needed improvement, the filler around base clearly been done by someone with no experience. ..."

8.4/10 Very good! (157 reviews)
"I had a very bad experience with this hotel, it’s not a hotel, it’s not 4 star, there isn’t breakfast, no wifi and the owner doesn’t care. The rooms are not actually attached to the bar/restaurant downstairs so upon check in I I had to ask around as I was not given any instructions, where the barman ..."
