Chalets à Hawks

« Room was small but adequate. Bathroom very small, shower extremely small, no place to set things except on window sill. Beds very comfortable. Check in was virtual, would have been nice to meet owners. Property was beautiful as well as clubhouse. Parking lot could use some painted lines, but we were one of three guests there at the time. Id stay again if i could get a lake view room with 2 beds. »

« Cute little cottage. We were just passing through working. Naturally I picked a day the restaurant closed. Pictures were a little confusing on what you got but I was fine with the room for the price. I'd stay again. Bed was very comfortable. »

« The room was absolutely terrible. There was urine on the toilet seat, the bedding was dirty with pubic hair on the sheets and blankets, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. I found dark curly hairs in the mini fridge along with a half drank 2liter of pop, the shower was also dirty with lots of curly hairs on the floor of the shower. I had to go and get bleach and disinfect the whole room. Would never recommend this place to anyone! »

« Great stay. Perfect for groups!! »

« Loved staying here! This house is so cozy and comfortable with plenty of room. We felt very welcomed by Shannon. I will miss walking out for the sunrise and watching the cows! A great place for us to stay at while going to a family wedding. »

« This is an older mom and pop motel. Room was small and clean. Aporeciated the microwave. Refrigerator was welcomed also as was the water and Keurig Restaurant is right across the street. Very convenient »

« When you think about a no frills place to stay, this is it. A place to lay down and sleep.. period. It is convenient for what we needed and for that I'm thankful. Know what your getting ahead of time »

« Pet Friendly - room was clean, bathroom very small. Just very outdated and could use some upgrades. No cups for coffee, stubbed toe three times on steel poles on the bed frame. »

« Place was clean and well kept. It had all the amenities of home and plenty of space for families. Having air conditioning, dish washer, a full kitchen, and washer and dry was also a bonus for managing traveling families. »

« It was clean and allowed our dogs, two criteria met.A last minute reservation change complicated check in somewhat. Overpriced for the accommodations. »

« Room was musty there y enraging my allergies. »

« Nice layout with all the immenities »

« Great, private location with a good amount of space for kids and adults. The lake view was incredible and the fire pit was wonderful to stay up and watch the stars. The games were nice to have for a rainy day as well. We did have an issue with check in, but the host went above and beyond to make it right. Would love to go back! »

« The room was not clean upon my arrival. There was small bits of debris on the floor (it was obvious they did not vacuum after the prior guest left!). The bathroom was dirty. Also, the parking lot had large piles of leaves and debris in it. Also, 2 rooms down from mine there was a Styrofoam to-go food container lying on the walk-way - with old, rotting food in it! It remained there the entire week I was there - and appeared to have been there for at least a week prior to my arrival! This place...

« Very useable »

« We enjoyed our stay at Paul’s cabin. It was a great home base for us as we traveled around the area (Hillman, Alpena, Clear Lake State Park beach, Ocqueoc Falls, and Rogers City). The cabin was comfortable. It was close quarters but suited our needs. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. »
