Peace Of Heaven
We stayed at this property for a week to celebrate a 60th Birthday. We thought the property was beautiful. The description of the property was accurate and do give it 5 stars for that. The grounds are immaculate, and the community pool is very nice. The condo itself is very old and we knew that, and we would have gave 5 stars all around, but condo was not clean, mirrors and appliances and balcony doors looked like they had not been cleaned in quite awhile. The furniture is old and cushion covers need to be replaced or maybe atleast washed. We agree with the reviews about the stove, for some reason all the settings and markings are gone, so if you are not familiar with a electric glass top stove you could not use it. We did alot of exploring and enjoying the beautiful island, so did eat out for the most part so it was not a issue for us. The condo is right on the ocean, spectacular sunset views, but there is just a very small rocky beach. No beach is no problem though since there are so many other beaches to visit. Sorry cannot give this condo a all 5 star rating. I think it could be the best vacation rental with some much needed updating and cleaning. Eileen the host was very easy to communicate with in booking and answering questions before we arrived. Had a few concerns about the property and let Eileen know and hope she takes care of them, would make a big difference in our rating.

Mahalo Robyn for the update on a few needed repairs .I have taken care of the floor where the grout has come out and the stove knobs are now visible .It was very hard to get replacements but my friend was able to find them. I have hired a person to clean my widows. I will buying a new fridge and pull out couch. Mahalo again for helping me out. Much appreciated! Eileen

Amazing balcony with stunning views
We really enjoyed staying at this property for 5 days! Wish we had stayed a bit longer! We arrived and check in process was easy and at first we thought department was a bit dated, but it had so much charm and the beds were very comfortable (bed and sofabed). The balcony was fantastic with the beautiful views and it had everything we needed. I would very much recommend

My husband and I stayed at Eileen’s beautiful condo for 2 weeks, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary ( 2 years late lol). The views from everywhere are unbeatable! We saw turtles and whales every day from the lanai, and an endangered Hawaiian monk seal beached herself for a nap on the small sandy area! The Kuleana is in a great location for all west Maui beaches and restaurants as well. We highly recommend the condo for all of your vacation needs!

Increible view
Beautiful views great security, rugs need to be replaced with rubber bottoms, slip too easy. Ocean front,7 steps-good rails.some blew conch shells at sunset. Bed comfortable. Need to work on stove controls, almost invisible,great balcony. Would definitely stay there again.

What an amazing location. The view and the lanai were our favorite place to sit and watch the whales and sea turtles every morning and evening. We had everything we needed. The beach chairs were so great to have for daily trips to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay loved all the turtles being close to the ocean it was beautiful . The only thing that was not good was the unit above us had smokers an the smoke would come down into our patio I would suggest no smoking in the whole complex .

Aloha Dave, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. There is no smoking allowed in the units at all.The manager should have been notified No smoking allowed at the Kuleana . There are 2 designated areas far from the complex .One is at the end of the parking lot and another way below the bbqs at the oceans edge. I have owned this since 2006 and have never had a smoking issue. I will report this to the manager.Thanks for letting know Mahalo, Eileen

A Hawaiian Paradise
We love our trips to Hawaii and the Kuleana is one of our favorite spots.This is a fabulous property. Well maintained, beautiful grounds, great pool, and right on the water's edge. It definitely has the feel of "Old Hawaii". That being said, what makes it even more enjoyable is this corner unit. Lovely view, many interior updates, and very comfortable. Sunsets from the lanai were a sight to behold!! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Amazing Property!
We were traveling for our 30th wedding anniversary. The property was exactly as advertised and a wonderful stay. The images from the property are accurate. Amazing views of the beach and ocean! It was so nice to relax on the balcony and listen to the waves. We also saw many sea turtles right from the property. The property was clean and the bed was very comfortable. These are very important to us when traveling. Eileen was an amazing host. She gave great beach recommendations and was extremely accommodating with us on our stay. We had a later flight so she allowed us to check out a little later which was very kind. If we ever get a chance to return to Maui we will try to book here first!

Great views with surfing and turtles at waterfront
Great view, the real gem of this property is the small shady beach where you can easily see turtles and fish. Afternoon sun is bright on the porch, but shades help. King bed was ok comfy, the four posters on the bed made bedroom much more cramped than needed. Chairs and cooler were very appreciated, excellent ice maker, bedroom only AC is noisy, we were ok as we used ear plugs. Still the view is worth it and we’d stay again. Grounds were very well kept and bbq area overlooked ocean.

Perfect Maui location
This second floor, corner unit has incredible views in 2 directions. The lanai affords views of both Molokai and Lanai. The kitchen is well stocked and suitable for cooking a lovely stay at home dinner. And the bed is extremely comfortable! Would highly recommend this West Maui property.

We loved our experience and the views were fabulous. We saw numerous whales. The condo was amazing with views of the bright blue ocean wherever you looked. Everything was clean and tidy with everything you needed for cooking. We used the barbecue and it too was clean and ready/easy to use. Shopping close by was a plus.

A beautiful location with 180 degree views of for whale watching. See dozens of sea turtles from the lanai or walk along the beautiful rocky shore (Also so a monk seal!). Private, quiet, great pool, grounds meticulously maintained. Wonderful!

Eileen is the best and was so helpful! I forgot that she had sent all the instructions but she still patiently walked me thorugh everything over the phone and let me say, the views are stunning! It's a great condo for 1 or 2 people. Wonderful for a cocktail on the balcony and exploring the Lahaina. For the price, this is the best value ever. I didn't come to Hawaii for the perfect condo design or the most luxury, I came to see Maui and this condo was ideal for everything I needed.

We stayed at three different places while visiting Maui. This was our favorite. There were not one but TWO million dollar views from this condo! There was a nice, little, sandy beach and clear waters. It truly is peaceful. You'll find yourself wanting to explore more of the area and that's easily done since it's a a quick and easy drive to Lahaina and the bigger resorts. The condo itself is not luxurious, but it is clean, comfortable, well equipped, and the views are great....did I mention the views?

great location
Location was perfect close to everything. Walking distance to bunch of restaurants and shopping. Neighborhood felt like a good mix of locals and travelers. short driving distance to the Historic District of Lahaina, snorkeling and so many beaches. check-in was easy. as other reviewers mentioned the unit itself is much smaller than we thought. It is more like a small studio size so on the cozy side so more than 2 people may feel a bit cramped. But what made the whole stay amazing was the access to the beach just steps away, the view of the ocean right outside the window and the cross breeze we get as we sat in the living room and the patio. the sound of the ocean and the waves crashing can’t be beat. Overall, we loved our stay.

This condo was a lovely place to get away and enjoy the spectacular ocean views. The lanai was a relaxing place to savor the beauty of rainbows, sea turtles, humpback whales and the sound of the ocean! The gardens at Kuleana are beautiful and filled with Monarch butterflies. We didn’t want to leave!
