La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Coeur d`Alene

"We last minute booked this room, I’m talking 10 minutes before we checked in and it was late. We’d drove all day and were wanting a nice king bed to sleep in and that’s what we got. You have to drive through a large, confusing parking lot, but that was fine once we figured it out. The lady at the front counter was nice and after requesting the top floor she was able to put us in a room up top. The bed was comfortable, you get two pillow options, a feather down and a regular. Not a fan of the feather down though. The pool area looked nice, but we didn’t have a chance to use it and it’s 24 hours, which is great. The price of this hotel is great compared to others. The next night we had an advanced reservation about 3 miles away at another hotel by Wyndham that was disgusting! We left and wouldn’t stay there and decided to drive home instead. For the price difference of around $25, I wish I’d stayed at this La Quinta Inn both nights. Now we know which hotel to choose in the future."

"Great views from the house and the house was well appointed to meet all our needs. We had an issue with no propane when we first arrived but our host had that fixed within an hour. We were very happy with our stay. My wife said it was magical."

"Great stay! Arrived quite late but keys left for us and got into our room easily. Soft and clean sheets on a very comfortable king bed! Less than 5 min walk to a great bakery for breakfast. Quick in and out but exactly what we needed."

"The house and property itself was cute and had lots of charm. A little difficult to find, the address was not super visible and driveway down to the house could be marked better. There is a 4 car limit for parking and finding overnight parking was a challenge, owner was not super helpful with alternative suggestions. Carlin Bay is private property and the city of Harrison does not allow overnight parking. So if you have more than 4 cars I suggest figuring that out beforehand. Also for accommodating up to 10 people they only have 1 medium size trash bin and have you haul out extra garbage to dumpsters almost a half hour away from the house-pretty inconvenient. Could also use a bigger coffee pot, and a wagon to haul stuff up and down the hill would be an excellent addition to accommodations. House was clean and property was really nice tho."

"Renting this cottage was an incredible experience! The communication with the host was always quick and effective, and she was incredibly helpful. The location was amazing, being right across from the beach was perfect. The cottage was well set up with everything you could need while you were there. The air conditioning kept us cool and there were enough beds for everyone in our group. I would absolutely rent here again without hesitation."

"The place had not been cleaned from the prior guest before we checked in. The BBQ grill does not ignite so bring a lighter. Great views. Quiet little community. Easy to get to and back into CDA."

"We had a great time at CdA. Spent a week at this cabin in August. Family of four, plus the kids each brought a friend. Dog friendly. Beds are comfortable. Good view from the deck. Kid Island Bay is a pretty quiet bay. The entire bay is pretty shallow with a lot of seaweed, just like all the shallow bays on CdA. There’s a community swimming area just a short walk from the cabin with no seaweed. We kept a boat at the shared dock all week with no issues. The other cabin didn’t use the dock at all the week we were there. No trailer parking but you can leave the truck and/or trailer parked at one of the many boat launches. Communication was great. Check-in and check-out were easy."
