« We have stayed lots of places in midcoast Maine and this was our favorite! It is such a peaceful part of the lake - the stars at night were unbelievable, as was the chorus of loons! We really loving taking the kayaks out. The house is super cute and with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, and some amenities you don't always find in similar places - we particularly appreciated the well water and washer dryer! « Fantastic location, fantastic space, every accommodation I could have asked for. Including firewood, grill , and of course the separated bungalow for just the 2 of us. We brought our own chairs and grill not know what we would be finding. Turns out having the flat top came in handy, But completely unnecessary. Even provided 2 backup propane tanks. »

« Very relaxing! Great screened in porch where we spent most of our time if we weren’t fishing or floating in the water. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Very clean. It was a great family vacation! Only negative was there are many big rocks and seaweed in the water. No place to walk in. So kayaking, canoeing and floating are your best choices. Would go back!! »

« What a wonderful, peaceful stay! The cabin was perfect, well thought out amenities, comfortable, clean, and loved hearing the loons calling. We brought our own Keurig coffee maker as my Client preferred ut. But the coffee/tea station was lovely!We stayed a whole week and when we weren't gathering for activities elsewhere we enjoyed sitting on the porch or Adirondack chairs by the pond. »

The cabin has a campfire, lots of batteries for charging, lights, battery fans, etc. There were many long walking trails with fun activities; like kayaking, axe throwing, a pizza oven… Exactly what we were looking for! « We had an incredible time at this property!! A little slice of heaven which is hard to find these days. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, sitting on the deck and dock with a cup of coffee. The house is wonderful, wouldn't change a thing! Roger and Elaine were so welcoming and responsive. When there was a kayak paddle missing they came within 10 minutes with a replacement! We would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back! »
