This really is an amazing small hotel in the centre of Haarlem which is close to Amsterdam. The owners (and operators) of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They seem to speak several languages quite fluently and serve breakfast every morning. It is a perfect location to enjoy a typical Dutch town centre with museums and many restaurants close by.

This hotel was a great place to stay that was close to the airport (via train or bus) so we could get to our flight the next morning. The served a nice breakfast buffet and were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, and would love to visit Haarlem for longer than the one night that we did.

I loved this hotel. The location was quiet, across from a park, but still very central. The breakfast was elaborate, the coffee delicious, the staff cheerful, the room gorgeous, the beds extremely comfy...everything about it was wonderful...Sigh. My only wish was thay we could have stayed longer! It was such a great choice to stay here instead of in Amsterdam. Ill never forget it.

We had a very comfortable, enjoyable time at the Van der Valk hotel in the beautiful city of Haarlem. We had a rental car but we used the transit system to get to Amsterdam. The transit system is awesome. The people are friendly and the area was great. Just watch out for the bicycle riders... don't walk on the bike paths. The restaurant at this hotel was very good. Everything I expected. Just know it’s a 30 min walk to the main areas as a tourist. But if you don’t mind the walk, it’s great and other area to explore. But the fact there was a skating rink nearby made me feel extra Canadian

I had an amazing stay at Monet Garden Hotel Amsterdam. The service was outstanding, with a warm and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect.
