We loved our first time ever snowbird trip to Gulf Shores. The location is perfect… the Gulf and beach a few steps across the street; restaurants and shopping a few minutes drive away. The sunsets were beautiful. Our unit was a bit old and needs a new coach and loveseat, but everything else met our needs. Beds were quite comfy. Being able to have our dog with us made this a perfect place for us. Management was so helpful whenever we needed them. I would recommend this place for sure.

Vacasa does HORRIBLE JOB managing this property! THE FILTHIEST rental ever! I am ok with outdated, I cannot tolerate filth. Such a shame. - Couches - HOLES and FUR. I know it's pet friendly but there were bunches of long dog hair stuck to the sides of the couches as if the cleaning team has never ran a lint roller. Reviews from April 2022 mentioned the same holes...Also, they smell. - Yellow stains (maybe dog urine as it looks like it was running down the surface as if a male dog peed on it) on the walls and doors. - Bathroom - 1/4" thick lint buildup on the bathroom vanity and floor boards - seems like it's from the dirty old AC unit that blew lint from the floor onto the cabinet. - Pieces of prickly plant with dog fur left on the nightstand! - Vinyl floors are chipped, creating sharp edges you trip over. - Carpet in the guest bedroom it wore out - the WOOD PLANK WITH NAILS, that holds it in place, is sticking out and I PIERCED MY FOOT the first night we were there. - Nasty dirty floors - first night we walked barefooted and our feet turned BLACK. - Smell. Kitchen cabinets have moldy smell -we rewashed all the dishes before use as they had the same smell. - Dirty dishes in the cabinets. - Microwave - eaten by rust. - Patio furniture is falling apart. Hazard. - Hot tub didn't work and was always cold. - No blankets, only 2 sheets. Pillows - old, flat. It feels like the cleaning team replaces towels and sheets and never actually cleans. Get them a mop.

Lots of issues... overwhelming urine scent in the master bedroom, could not even stay in there or use this room. We called Vacasa on this issue, they cleaned the carpet 2 days after arrival but it stayed damp and smelled. My wife awoke with a burning in her throat the first night. Did not sleep in that room the rest of our vacation. No batteries in the thermostat for heat or AC, temps fluctuated into the 50s overnight, forcing us to buy long sleeve clothing. Also no blankets! No oven mitts to remove food from the oven Batteries in the TV remotes held in by band-aids, batteries were dead. TV in 2nd bedroom never worked, cable torn out of input jack. TV in second bedroom 10 inch screen. Dried foods in bowls and dishes, found in cabinets. Sofa had holes. Hot tub near pool never worked, always cold. Floors coming up in multiple places. One mini blind was broken. No tupperware provided for leftovers. Great location for beach and lagoon access, but with all other problems made in ridiculous to enjoy.

Family vacation

Loved this condo. Location was perfect. Beach was right across the street. Lagoon was beautiful and peaceful. My son got to fish and I got to kayak. The storage closet was full of beach toys and chairs.

Upon arrival we were shocked to see trash behind both nightstands as well as dirty dishes in the cabinets. Management said they’d refund cleaning fee but then never responded. There was also very large roaches on the balcony at night.

Softball World Series trip

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Oats. It was convenient to the beach, softball fields, and restaurants. They condo was just as described online. We had one problem that was remedied quickly. We would stay at Sea Oats again.

There was NO sign showing how to access the stairs to the upper level condos. The address on our condo door was locked & NO keypad. Had to wait an hour for management to let us know the door was on the opposite side of the building. I noticed later that The other buildings had signage. Upon entry to the condo, the a/c was broken & the unit was at 83 degrees; Another set back. Management did respond & send a repair guy. Then the a/c repair guy used a code to enter our condo & it deleted our code to gain access to our unit. Just a cluster of issues.

Nice condo, dog friendly, but wifi problem

After not knowing how to get into the building and up to the second floor (no door with an entrance sign), we had to call for help checking in with the keypad. We didn’t know you had to include the # key first. Wish that detail had been specifically mentioned. The condo was nice and had all the amenities, but needs a few fixes (patio door rust chipping off on the floor, sink sprayer needs replacing, wifi not working). LOVED the three big windows in the living room, the sliding doors onto the patio from both bedrooms, and the big tv in the master bedroom. Beds were comfortable, but the bedcovers were paper thin. I was hoping for soft, fluffy bath towels, but they were thin and rough. The water pressure in both kitchen sink and showers was low. Beach access was super easy. We greatly appreciated being able to have our dog with us without any issues or complaints. Thanks for a great spring break!

Winter trip to Gulf Shores, AL

The property was clean and spacious. The complex location and green space was great. Ability to contact property managers was poor. Non functioning wifi, constantly dripping kitchen sink, and poorly draining shower could not be attended to. The unit needed some TLC. I would not rent that specific unit again but would rent a better maintained one in Sea Oats. Gulf Shores is a beautiful location in the winter, nearby parks were fabulous and the seafood was great !

Walked into Condo and a roach greeted us. Couch stained and holes. So much rust on out side balcony door. Holes in walls. Blinds tore up. The amenities they advertised with condo were not available. When calling to complain, states so sorry have a great day. Constant parties in other condos were so horrible that you could not even sleep or enjoy the pool!Left early and very disappointed in the whole experience! Will NEVER stay there again.

Beach getaway

Loved the location so close to beach. Quiet this time of year. Would be much better if sheets fit the king size bed- they were too small and kept coming off the mattress. The condo was spiffy clean and otherwise very comfortable.
