"What is up with the good reviews? We were misled. Our first room had tattered window shades that did not work. Our second room had a poor air conditioner and amps with dead light bulbs. We asked for the room to be cleaned at least 6 times. It never hit cleaned and each request was met with either an apology or a non recognition that we asked. The bartender seemed oblivious to making drinks. The lobby was dirty and the couches in the lobby were stained. The veneer on the furniture in the room was chipped in multiple places. We asked for soap and couldn’t get it. None of this is an exaggeration. The only reason I give this 2 stars rather than 1 is because the very young staff was understaffed and there was a good bed with sheets that were unfortunately too short and came off the bed in the middle of the night. If I had the energy, I would ask for a refund. Yet, I believe I would simply receive the blanks looks we got for making basic requests like for room cleaning and soap. This hotel looks like a relic from the 70’s that’s never been redone and is a few years from going down."
