"We arrived for Christmas and the house was warm and welcoming. The owners had put up a decorated Christmas tree. Cottage in a lovely location surrounded by scenic Yorkshire countryside.The cottage was spacious and well equipped. There are three bathrooms which worked well with our group of five.There were new baking trays which made cooking our Christmas dinner a great success.We would definitely book this cottage again. The local shop and pub just a 20 minute walk away. The Spar is an excellent local shop.A longer but enjoyable walk takes you to the lovely village of Grassington"

"Farfield House was wonderful and the best equipped cottage we have stayed in, just like home from home. A great base for visiting the Dales and although there aren’t any amenities in the village (not quite true as there is a very expensive Michelin starred restaurant/pub within walking distance) it’s not far to shops and pubs in Gargrave and the Devonshire Arms at Cracoe was wonderful, very dog friendly and the locals made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend 😊"

"Helpful and flexible with uncertainty over bookings, and the accommodation was at least satisfactory in general... but there was drastically inadequate parking for a full hostel, and we were not given all the necessary info about how to gain access to the buildings ! ( a helpful resident who happened to be up late saved us from standing outside in the cold and dark. Make sure the person on the desk not only gives over the FULL keypad entry number...but also HOW to access the key pad in order to actually press the numbers and symbols in! :-l"

"Excellent 3 night stay in the chapel, we really enjoyed it. Only thing we didnt like was at night it was completely pitch black outside when coming back from being out. But waking up in a morning to sheep and turkeys was lovely. Nice walks, gorgeous breakfast and lovely staff in the cafe down road, also tenants arms pub on front the food was very nice. Bus ride or 10 mins drive in car to grassington which i definitely recommend going to. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants."
